A different kind of gift certificate

How sad is this?

“For that person on your list who has everything, Planned Parenthood is offering — ahem — gift certificates.

For the first time, Planned Parenthood of Indiana is selling gift certificates, Indianapolis’ WISH-TV reported. The certificates come in $25 increments and can be used for birth control, breast exams — and abortions.

Curt Smith, president of the Indiana Family Institute, said he was appalled by the idea.

“If somebody wants to help a woman at a time of crisis, they can support the life centers throughout Indiana,” he told the TV station.”

Amazing things about Christmas

This was sent to me, and I thought it was so good it needed to be shared.

Nancy Leigh DeMoss: Think with me about how many amazing things happened on the first Christmas.
The God who opens the womb, giving the gift of children, became a child growing in the womb of a woman.
The One we depend on for everything became dependent on human parents.
The One who holds the universe in His hands was held in the arms of Mary.
The One who created the first woman was born of a woman.
The Ancient of Days became a newborn.
The Helper became a helpless baby.
The Creator became a creature.
Psalm 29:4 tells us God’s voice is powerful and majestic. That powerful, majestic voice was reduced to a baby’s cry.

If you think about it, Christmas is astonishing. This God-in-flesh deserves our thanks and worship.
